Covid Response and Creating a Safe Kitchen

WITH EACH PASSING WEEK, LIFE JUST GETS STRANGER AND STRANGER...

But for now, Team Nourish is focused on keep you well-fed and healthy with some of the best plant-based eats in town. And we're working hard to make our process and space the safest it can possibly be!

CLEAN KITCHEN SPACES

Keeping you, our staff, and our community safe starts with Nourish NYC’s strict Safety and Sanitation practices. Prior to entering our kitchen space each staff member has their temperature checked and sign off on a health evaluation. Additionally, we undergo regular COVID screening tests (here’s a link for a great at home testing kit).

In the kitchen, our whole team wears masks for the entire shift and gloves when handling any of your food. In addition to constant hand-washing and sanitization of all workspaces/ utensils, we follow a strict adherence to a kitchen-wide best practices list recommended by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals, shown below. We've had the pleasure of working with several medical professionals to ensure our preventative measures match what they're hearing from the CDC and NY Health Department, and they're kindly keeping us in the loop if any further information comes down the line.

Contactless Delivery

Nourish NYC’s methodology of contactless delivery is among the safest ways for you to get delicious, healthy meals. Your items are carefully packaged in reusable cooler bags w/ ice packs to keep them nice and cool. On your delivery day, we will alert you when your order is being dropped off and then leave your bag in the secure location, according to your delivery instructions. For more information, below is a publication, concerning take-out and delivery of food.

What You Can Do

We are all in this together. In order to cut down infections and keep our whole community safe we ask that you adhere to all of the safety measures recommended by the State and Federal Health Departments, including wearing masks and washing your hands regularly. We also ask that you include specific instructions on your preferred delivery method. In order to cut down on shared equipment during this time, we are also currently asking you to hold ALL #5 plastics for the time being - we will get that program up and running just as soon as things get back to normal.

Let's keep safe and healthy, everyone. Eat well, stay home, and stay nourished.
